The device is also equipped with a socket, which allows to test transistors, diodes and continuity of a circuit. The meter also has a rectangular signal generator with a frequency of 50 Hz, amplitude of 5 V and impedance of 50 kΩ. All functions and ranges are selected manually using the yellow knob. The multimeter is powered by the 9 V battery included in the kit, and the meter itself is equipped with a low battery warning function.
